Congress Boren to hold Meeting in Atoka.

Congress Dan Boren will be at the Atoka County Library at 2:30pm on Wednesday, August 30th. We encourage everyone to come my and visit with the Congressman. Congressman Boren is always eager to hear your opinions on issues facing Oklahoma and its citizens. Be sure to take this opportunity to send your ideas back to Washington and also help Congressman Boren with his re-election campaign.

 

Come Visit with Governor Henry.

Governor Brad Henry will be in Atoka on Tuesday. Governor Henry is scheduled to be at Bledsoe's Diner at 2:15pm on Tuesday, August 29th. We encourage everyone to come by and bend the Governor's ear on the issues important to you and support his re-election campaign. We will try to post any changes to this schedule as soon as we get them.

Don't Forget to Vote!

The state wide run-off election will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd. On that day the polls will open at 7:00am and close at 7:00pm.

Atoka Democrats will choose their party's candidate for Lieutenant Govnernor. Democratics have two great candidates to choose from in Jari Askins and Pete Regan. After the run-off we can then look forward to supporting our party candidate and see them win in November.

Early voting can be done at the Atoka County Election Board Office located in the County Courthouse. Early voting can be accomplished at the Election Board Office on Friday, August 18th from 8:00am to 6:00pm, on Saturday, August 19th from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and on Monday the 21st from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

So don't forget to go vote next Tuesday or take advantage of the early voting opportunities. Vote for the People, Vote Democrat!

Monthly Meeting

The next Atoka County Democartic Party Monthly meeting will be held Tuesday, August 22 at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held in the Atoka Community Building located on OK Hwy 3 West in Atoka.
